~ All the diamonds ever polished in history would fill just one double-decker bus.

~ The largest brilliant-cut diamond is a 545.67ct diamond known as the golden jubilee diamonds, which was purchased from the De Beers- group by a Thai businessman in 1995, for the King of Thailand in honor of his golden jubilee. It is currently mounted in the Thai Royal scepter.

~The most valuable casino Chip was designed by Gerald N Lewy. It is set with 173 round diamonds of which 64 are natural pink diamonds. Value: £287,000.

~The most expensive diamond per carat is a 7.03carat fancy vivid blue, radiant cut, sold by Sotheby's in 2009. It was cut from an original stone weighing 26.58ct. Value: £854,700 per carat.

~ The most valuable Snoopy is a 207 carat creation also known as the "Diamond Snoopy" of the "Ever-Shining Star". It was created in 2009 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Charles Schulz cartoon strip. Set with 9,917 diamonds it is valued at £224,960.

~The most diamonds in one ring is the "Tsarevna Swan" created by Lobortas Classic Jewelry House. Set with 2,525 diamonds it is full wearable. It was presented in Kiev on 21th July, 2011.

~ The most valuable work of art is a diamond studded skull created by Damin Hirst of the UK. "For the love of G'd" is a human skull set with 8,601 flawless diamonds including a 52.4ct pink diamond in the forehead.  The total of 1,106.18cts is valued at £12 million.

~The first 100% diamond ring was unveiled on the 8th of March 2012 by Shawish Jewellery. The ring is made entirely out of a diamond. It weighs a 150ct and is worth £43.5 million.

~The largest uncut diamond was the "Cullinan" at 3,106.75cts mined in 1905 in South Africa. It was cut into nine smaller diamonds the largest of which, the "Great Star of Africa" weighing 530.20cts. It is set in the Royal Scepter of Queen Elizabeth II. The second large stone is set in the Queen's Imperial State Crown and is named the "Second Star of Africa".

~The largest diamond heist was in Cannes, France and lasted just 90 seconds. On July the 28th, 2013 an armed man entered the Carlton Hotel; his target was jewelry worth 103 million Euros. He single-handedly pulled off the biggest diamond heist ever. The diamond jewelry belonged to Lev Leviav. The jewelry was on display at the hotel.
